Jungstötter is the moniker of singer Fabian Altstötter. As an adolescent in the tranquility of small-town Germany, he founded the critically-acclaimed band Sizarr at a young age, with whom he released two records. With his solo project, which Altstötter ironically mentions as named Jungstötter, he commutes between the heaviness of Bad Seeds, the nightmarish songland landscapes of Scott Walker, and the tenderness of Mark Hollis.
