With « Geniale », Alessio Peck proves that he is very special. The most Italian of Parisian musicians cultivates his innate gift for songwriting but wraps his new song, with Italian lyrics, in a pure electronic texture. With a sense of solitude in the midst of lockdown, « Geniale » is born of exchanges between synth loops and guitar chords. Alessio dreamed of a stadium anthem to dance to and asked Ross Orton, a British producer (Arctic Monkeys, M.I.A....), to propel his verse/chorus formula under strobe lights and disco balls, a dark disco version from Sheffield.
