Dominique Dillon de Byington, aka Dillon, was 19 when she released her first songs. In 2011, she released her debut album “This Silence Kills”. Bearing all of the hallmarks of a classic debut. Created from years of deep introspection, contemplation and songwriting. Critics, and the public, fell under the beguile of dark chanson and sensual electronics. Her fragile, intimate and otherworldly voice, frequently compared to Bjork, Feist and Joanna Newsome, adds a strange lilt to these odd, enchanting and beautiful songs.
